Appointed by the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon yesterday the British diplomat, Ian Martin, head of the UN mission in Libya.
Martin was the primary advisor to that in terms of planning for post-conflict period in Libya, and held several high level positions at the United Nations for two decades, and will also be an important representative of UN Secretary-General in Libya.
And will be diplomatic Finn Georg Harpinter, the task of the Deputy Special Representative to that in Libya and the Resident Coordinator, yet he was the resident coordinator and the coordinator for humanitarian action in Sudan. The UN Security Council adopted a resolution Friday to form Assistance Mission to the United Nations in Libya for an initial period of last 3 months to help the Libyan authorities new in the reconstruction efforts
