A Columbus mom is angry after she was nearly blinded by a water balloon prank that shattered her car's windshield.
Over the weekend, Shannon Minic was driving near Rickenbacker Airport in Columbus with her six-year-old son in the car.
A water balloon was thrown toward her from another car, and when the balloon shattered her windshield, it sent glass flying into her eyes and all over her bodyTemporarily blinded, she had to rely on her six-year-old to tell her which way to drive and to call 911. Medics washed Minic's eyes with saline for 10 minutes before she could see. She must now wash her eyes out with saline solution daily andshe is still finding pieces of glass in her eyes. According to detectives, the combined speed of the water balloon and Minic's car means the balloon could've hit her windshield at approximately 110 miles per hour.
