Police in Perth say two teenagers who crashed a stolen car in the grounds of a school during a pursuit have been charged with numerous offences.
Police Media's Susan Usher says the 16 and 19 year-olds committed several burglaries and an armed robbery in the eastern suburbs yesterday.
They then fled in the stolen car.
"After committing an armed robbery in Bellevue, police sighted them in Balga and after a short pursuit that ended in Dianella, the offenders fled on foot,
"Police from several districts as well as the dog unit and the police helicopter assisted in the search.
"Both offenders were caught and they are going to appear on various charges today in court."
The 16-year-old has been charged with attempted aggravated armed robbery, possession of a prohibited drug, stealing a motor vehicle and stealing.
The 19-year-old has been charged with stealing a motor vehicle, failing to stop, reckless driving, and driving without a licence.
