Mercedes Benz India has introduced two new engine variants of their premium E-Class sedan. The E250 gets a 2497cc V6 petrol rated at 204 bhp and 30 kgm torque. Meanwhile the new diesel, inline-four, 2143cc CDI is rated at 201 bhp and 50+ kgm and is equipped with Mercedes Benz’s BlueEfficiency technology that claims lower emissions and fuel consumption figures.
The E250 V6 will be priced at Rs.41.13 lakh and the E250 CDI BlueEfficiency will be Rs.39.87 lakhs (both, ex-showroom, Mumbai). Do read our E250 Road Test in the Business Standard Motoring November and December issues.
