Hunter-Reay wins shortened Indy race

American Ryan Hunter-Reay captured his first IndyCar victory of the season in a shortened race that ended with a crash-marred finish on Sunday.
Light rain fell on the flat one-mile track with under 20 laps to go, forcing the fifth caution of the
day. The race then restarted with 10 laps left but Danica Patrick spun out, leading to a chain reaction that involved several other cars.
Both drivers and owners were upset that the scheduled 225-lap race ended 10 laps early at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It was slick out there "I wish it could have gone to green to the end. It was a strange day. Sometimes racing is strange."

Overall points contender Will Power and Takuma Sato were knocked out along with Patrick in the chain reaction crash.
Officials reverted to the race order that existed before the final restart, leaving Oriol Servia in second place and Scott Dixon in third.
Power, who is second in the series point standings, appeared angry as he climbed out of car. He reduced Dario Franchitti's points lead from 63 points to 47 with five races left.
Franchitti led Sunday's race for 115 of the 225 laps before having to leave the race after being hit from behind on the 119th lap.
