Car stuck? Run to work

Getting to work in heavy snow was no hurdle for one Cashmere couple whose car was stuck in the drifts - they ran 7 kilometres to the office.
Katie Bolt and Michael Smithson, both 29, live in Hollis Ave, at the base of Cashmere Hill, and both work in Riccarton.
"We couldn't get the car out of the street so thought we'd go for a run,''
Bolt, who works at a publishing company. the snow was hard-going and her feet were still wet from yesterday's run.
But computer programmer Smithson said it was not the deepest snow the pair had run in.
The couple recently took part in a 24-hour orienteering event at Craigieburn, called Twalk 2011where theythe snow underfootwas significantly deeper.
