BMW X3 effect: Audi Q5 Business Edition launched at 35.13 lakh rupees

Audi has launched the Audi Q5 SUV now sporting a new competitive price tag. The Audi Q5 Business Edition will be available for a price of Rs 35.13 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai. The Audi Q5 was available in three variants till now. The Q5 2.0 TDI retailed for around 40 lakhs, the Q5 2 liter TFSI Quattro comes with a price tag of around Rs 44 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai and the top-end 3.0 TDI Quattro sported a price tag of over 50 lakh rupees. The news comes at a time when arch rival BMW is getting ready for the arrival of the new BMW X3.Audihas experienced formidable growth, even surpassing annual sales of 3003 cars for 2010 in the first seven months of 2011. In July 2011, we sold 343 cars – a growth of 52 percent over the same period last year. Our focus is on strengthening our portfolio through the introduction of products like the Audi Q5 2.0 TDI q which are extremely relevant for India and also the expansion of our dealer network.  BMWwill launch the new BMW X3 on 25th August 2011 in Pune. Prices of the new SUV are expected to be over Rs 40 lakh. The Audi Q5 will be the main rival for the BMW X3 and battle seems to have already commenced with the launch of the Audi Q5 Business Edition.
