2013 BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe M Sport Hits the ‘Ring

When we heard that BMW was going to go ahead and put a four-door 6-Series into production, we just couldn’t believe that something that used to look like this in the past was going to share its name with a four-door model in a couple of years. Since then we’ve wormed up to the idea, especially after seeing all the effort BMW is going through to make it feel and look like a sporty little boat of a car.Their latest attempt saw them taking the new model that will probably be revealed late next year, adding a body kit that was made for the Coupe, and then thrashing it around the Nurburgring to check if it fits the sporty claims.Despite the camouflage, we can clearly see the aggressive-looking frontbumper with a built-in deep chin spoilerlights. Big five-spoke ally wheels, door sills and a refreshed bumper complete the exterior look of the car. We’re probably looking at the 650i version of the car that might also be combined with BMW’s xDrive four-wheel drive system. Hopefully, there will also be some suspension changes that will help the Gran Coupe stick to the road better.Inside, there’s steering wheel, a bunch of themed mats leather and even chrome footrests to look forward to. As with the coupe, you’ll get a number of custom touches that you can spec your car with, together with big wheels and exclusive paintjobs
