Pittsburgh police have arrested a 13-year-old boy who took his mother's car without permission, before crashing it at the end of a police chase early Monday morning.
Police aren't identifying the boy because of his age. Theyhe stole the car from the Beltzhoover neighborhood at about 1 a.m., then drove less than a mile before hitting a parked car while police followed him.The boy bailed out of the vehicle and ran away, but police they caught him a short time later in Mount Oliver.The boy is being charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving without a license, resisting arrest, fleeing and eluding police and other charges.
