The eco-friendly vehicle Smart-badged is powered by a 55 kW electric motor which is offering the small city-car a 0 to 60 km/h acceleration in 5 seconds while the 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes less than 13 seconds.
Thanks to the power increased from 40 to 73 horsepower the Smart ForTwo
can hit a top speed of 120 km/h and the car’s autonomy went up to 140 km.Charging the ForTwotakes 8 hours and the German manufacturer fitted it with a larger radiator grille with the electric drive logodaytime driving lights and wider door sills.The new generation of the Smart ForTwoscheduled to hit the dealerships in 30 countries starting from next year, after its official Frankfurt Motor Show unveiling, and its production will go up from 2.000 units to 10.000 anually.
