Lorinser Tuning Mercedes CLS

Lorinser Tuning released the sketches of its tuning project on the 2011 Mercedes CLS almost ayear ago. And now, the tuning firm has released the first pictures of the 2011upgrade package. The pictures show that the package is almost similar to the one revealed in the sketches. The car is fitted with a new aerodynamic body-kit. The body-kit includes bumper extension, side skirts, side air vents, a rear boot lid, a roof spoiler and new front fenders with air vents for cooling the brakes. The car is also fitted with four squared tailpipes. The car is covered in a matte gray paint job and two choices of rims are available. The 19 and 20 inch rims are offered in two colors: silver or matte black. The tuned car sits on lowered suspension springs and the overall exterior design package provides the car with an AMG-like appearance.A variety of engine tuning possibilities are also offered by the German tuner. These include a tuning package for the CLS 350 CGI, which can be boosted to 318 bhp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Also, the V-max can be bumped up to 165 mph instead of the standard 155 mph.
The pictures released by the tuning firm are of a CLS C218. The tuner has not revealed any details
of the performance package, but we can expect some ECU remaps in the new turbochargedand gasoline engines.Overall the tuner has done a good job in providing the new CLS with an aggressive and meaner look. Pricing is yet to be announced by the tuner.
