The next-generation (F30) bmw 3 Series has finally been spied completely undisguised. You might not be able to tell, however, due in part to the grainy images and strange angles. Or maybe it’s just the the lack of any major design progression.
With styling cues from the 5 and 7 Series, the car’s smaller overall shape is certain to help it stand out from its larger siblings.
Apart from the design, the photos also reveal that the 3 Series will finally get BMW’s Head Up Display system.
When it does arrive, two engines will be offered in North America, with the 328i model powered by the brand’s new turbocharged 4-cylinder, while the 335i get a turbocharged 6-cylinder.
Look for official details from BMW in the coming months, although the 2012 3 Series isn’t expected to make its world premiere until the Geneva Auto Show in March.
