The Germans from BMW decided to reveal the M3 DTM Concept Car, a vehicle which will run at the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters competition. We talked several times about BMW’s decision to return the DTM series, the Germans leaving this competition in 1994. Therefore, we expect some news from Mercedes too, in order to complete the lineup of the three German rivals.

The model produces 480 horsepower, does the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in around 3 seconds and provides a top speed of 300 km/h. According to the official details, this is not the final version of the model, of course, this was not very difficult to find considering that it is called a concept. Therefore, BMW will unveil the BMW M3 DTM in its final form at the upcoming and long awaited Frankfurt Auto Show in September. At the same event, BMW Motorsport confirmed that Andy Priaulx and Augusto Farfus will be behind the steering wheel in the 2012 DTM season.
