New Mercedes Benz CLS Class to be launched in Indian car market this week

Mercedes Benz India is on a roll if you're talking aboutlaunches, events, and car sales. If they mesmerized you last week with the C Class Saloon launch in India for a price of Rs. 29.79 lakhs, brace yourself for the next big thing. This week Mercedes Benz India will launch the spectacular New CLS-Class in Mumbai. The event will see Director Sales & Marketing, Mr. Debashis Mitra, grace the big occasion.The Mercedes Benz CLS was first launched in 2004 on the W211 E-Class platform. Codenamed C219, the executive size sedan saw the first gen Mercedes BenzCLS have a winning run that spanned from 2004-2010. The second generation Mercedes Benz CLS Class was introduced a year ago, September and went into production at the beginning of 2011.The Mercedes Benz second generation CLS Class unveiled a year earlier, shared concepts with the 2004 version with significant changes in design lines. Design direction for the Mercedes Benz second generation CLS Class points to a more aggressive front. The new CLS is available in four variants. This includes 6 and 8-cylinder petrol variants and 4 and 6 cylinder diesel variants. What we will be looking forward to is the exciting price tag that comes with the new CLS-Class.
